Facebook is a global leader in social media and also owns other social famous applications like Whatsapp, Instagram. Facebook is not just a social network but also an excellent marketing tool, and you can post advertisements to reach more people. Even though Facebook is the number one social network, There isn’t an official Facebook app available on Roku. But, If you want to browse Facebook on your Roku, there are some alternative methods.
How to Use Facebook on Roku?
Roku is a streaming device that is designed to bring online contents to your TV. Even though Facebook is not available on Roku, we can use on Roku using the screen mirroring. It would be fun to access them on Roku TV.
Step 1: Connect your Roku streaming device to the HDMI port on the TV
Step 2: Turn on your Roku and make sure it is connected to the internet
Note: Make sure your Roku and Mobile Phone is connected to the same Wifi.
Step 3: Go to Roku home screen by pressing the home button on Roku remote
Step 4: Select Settings
Step 5: Choose System option
Step 6: Select Screen Mirroring and choose either “Prompt or Always allow” option
Step 7: It will search for the nearby devices, once your device name is displayed, click on it. Now your Smartphone is ready to cast or mirror.
Step 8: Install and launch the Facebook app on your smartphone. Now you can cast Facebook on TV.
That’s it. With Screen casting enabled on your device, you can watch Facebook Live on Roku and Facebook Watch on Roku too.
Facebook is not available on Roku and screen sharing is the only way to use it on Roku. If you are not a big fan of screencasting then only another way to use Facebook on TV is to use other streaming devices which supports Facebook.
