Set up NordVPN on Roku (Windows)

[1] Subscribe to any plan of NordVPN or start your free trial.

[2] Download and install the NordVPN Windows app on your PC.

[3] Click on WiFi icon in the taskbar and select Network & Internet Settings.

[4] From the left pane, choose Mobile Hotspot and turn on the Share my Internet connection with other devices toggle.

[5] Again from the left pane, click Status and choose Change Adapter Options.

[6] Right-click on the NordVPN adapter and choose Properties from the context menu.

[7] Go to Sharing section and check the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection box.

Set up NordVPN on Roku (Mac)

[1] From your Mac home screen, click on the Apple logo.

[2] Choose System Preference from the menu.

[4] Choose VPN type as IKEv2 and service name as Roku.

[6] Once done, go to Authentication settings and enter the Password for your service.

[8] Now, click on Advanced and check the Send all traffic over VPN connection box.

[10] With everything done, click on Connect to establish a connection with NordVPN.

[12] Choose System preference and select Sharing.

[13] Under sharing, check Internet sharing followed by WiFi.

  • Security: WPA2 Personal

Set up for NordVPN connected PC with Roku

Once NordVPN is set up on your Windows or Mac PC, follow the steps to connect with your Roku device.
