But the only problem with using this feature is that it will delete all the settings and channels added to Roku. How to Factory Reset Roku device?

There are two ways to Reset Roku. They are:

  • From the Roku Settings
  • Using the Physical button

1. Turn on your Roku and press the Home button on your remote.

2. Scroll down and select the Settings menu.

6. Enter the Pin displayed on your screen and then click OK to start the reset process.

Factory Reset Roku Using Physical Button

If your Roku-connected TV screen is frozen, you may not be able to navigate through the Settings. If that’s the case, in some Roku devices, a physical reset button can be found on the backside of your Roku device.

1. Connect your Roku to the TV using the HDMI port and power it on.

2. Next, press the Reset button for about 10 seconds.

3. When the reset is complete, you will be notified with the LED light being blinked rapidly.

BONUS: How to Reset Roku Without a Remote

In case your Roku remote is not working and your TV screen is not frozen, you can use the Roku app available on the Google Play Store or the App Store to control your Roku temporarily.

1. Launch the Roku app on your Android or iOS devices.
