1. Turn on your Roku TV, press the home button on your remote and go to its home screen.

3. In that section, scroll to the input port to select input on Roku, which your gaming device is connected with. It can be HDMI 1, HDMI 2, or AV.

5. In that options section, scroll down to Picture settings.

6. There, you can find the Game mode option.

7. You can turn it on/off using the left or right button on your Roku TV remote.

How to Enable Game Mode on TCL Roku TV when Game Mode is Not Available

If Auto low latency mode (ALLM) is enabled on your TCL Roku TV, Game mode won’t be available for you. So, we need to turn off this ALLM feature.

1. To turn off ALLM on your TCL Roku TV, go to your TV’s home screen.

2. Scroll down and go to Settings.

3. In that, go to TV inputs and choose the port to which you have connected your gaming device.

4. Then, select the Standard option and turn off Auto low latency mode and instead set it to Standard mode.

5. Now, again, go to Picture Settings, as shown in the previous procedure.

6. In that, select Game mode and check if you can manually turn it on. If so, proceed to turn it on and start playing games on your TCL Roku TV.

How to Turn On Variable Refresh Rate on TCL Roku TV

Still, if you cannot turn on Game mode manually, then you need to turn on the Variable Refresh Rate setting on your Roku TV. To turn it on,

1. Select the input port to which you have connected your gaming device.

2. In that, select Variable refresh rate or FreeSync variable refresh rate to turn the feature on.
